We had a nice sunny weekend, and used it to walk around the Chain Bridge and look at Pest from the castle in Buda.
The Chain Bridge and St. Stephen's in Pest. The Parliament building. Beautiful Gothic building.
Lots of pictures, so more after the jump.
We also saw the largest synagogue in Europe.
It was designed in the Moorish style, so it has Mosque-like decorations.
The interior.
The ark, which looks like a Church, because it was designed by someone who wasn't Jewish.
They will be performing in Budapest in April.
A random lonely window in the castle complex in Buda.
The three most exciting things?
1. All you can eat sushi!
2.
3. Passing through Bratislava to get to and from Budapest!
Woohoo, Bratislava!
Just kidding about those three. But we really did pass through Bratislava.
